Fraser Express Speed Control Unit

This is a replacement speed control unit for a Fraser Xpress Electric Golf Trolley.

If the polarity has been reversed on a Fraser (ie a battery has been connected to the trolley 'black to red' and 'red to black') then 99% of the time this will damage the speed control box beyond repair.

This control unit is for a Fraser that has a the wiring running down the trolley from the switch and  connected to a jack plug which then plugs into the speed control unit. 

The classic symtom of a Fraser Xpress that requires a new speed control unit is:

• The trolley will only go at one speed, usually full speed, even when the switch is turned off - in other words as soon as you connect the battery, the trolley will shoot off at full speed even if the switch is in the off position.

However, sometimes if the controller is faulty then a Fraser will simply not move at all. On this occassion you can usually hear a faint 'humming' noise when you connect the battery to the trolley and turn on the potentiometer.
