Energy Golf Trolley Speed Control Unit & Potentiometer (Switch)

This is a UK built replacement Speed Control unit and Potentiometer for an Energy Electric Golf trolley.

The Speed Control unit is located under the tray that holds the battery in place, the potentiometer is located in the handle.

The classic symtoms of an Energy golf trolley that requires a new speed control unit and/or a potentiometer are:

• The trolley will only go at one speed, usually full speed, or
• The trolley is dead, or
• The trolley is intermittant, ie it goes then cuts out.

If your trolley is not going at all, it is not necessarliy the potentiometer or the controller which is at fault. If you are local to us, your trolley can be left with our engineers to diagnose the fault.

If the polarity has been reversed on your trolley (ie a battery has been connected 'black to red' and 'red to black') then 99% of the time this will damage the speed control unit.
