This is a replacement speed control unit for the Digital Powakaddy Freeway. 

The classic symtoms of a Powakaddy that requires a new speed control unit are:

• The trolley is dead, and has died suddenly,
• When you turn the potentiometer (switch), there is a clicking noise coming from under the trolley

This Speed Control unit is for a Powakaddy Freeway (not Freeway 2) that has a digital readout on the handle. If your Powakaddy does not have digital readout on the handle, then you will require the Standard Powakaddy Speed Controller.
