These beautiful wedges are available in seven lofts : 48, 50, 52, 54, 56, 58 & 60
To help your choice of loft, most golf club manufacturers make their wedges to the following lofts :
pitching wedge - 48 degrees
sand wedge - 56 degrees
Lob wedge - 60 degrees
We offer a comprehensive Custom fit service on this wedge, here's how it works:
- Choose which loft you require.
- Choose which shaft and shaft flex you require.
- Choose which grip you require (if you require the grip to be thicker than standard you can request it to be built up with tape).
- Choose which lie angle you require - generally very tall people require a more upright lie angle and short people require a flatter lie. Most people are standard, but if you are not sure what you require, please email us for professional advice info@customprogolf.co.uk
- Choose the length of club you require, please refer to the table below which shows the standard lengths of each club.

Former Ryder Cup player Norman Drew felt that the majority of modern wedges had too much bounce. This makes it difficult to 'nip' the ball off the surface, especially off tighter lies and in particular around links courses. By reducing the bounce by 50% over standard wedges you end up with a leading edge that sits 'flush' to the ground and allows the golfer to maximise the spin from a tight lie.
